Our Governance

National Power Research Center is structured to safeguard the independence and integrity of its research at every level. The Center operates under the supervision of the Board of Trustees, which is responsible for setting strategic direction, maintaining institutional standards, and ensuring that NPRC’s research remains independent from political or commercial influence. The Center’s day-to-day research and organizational activities are led by President Erik Shahnazaryan, supported by senior fellows and research leads across the center’s core program areas. To maintain rigor and credibility, NPRC research is subject to an internal peer review process, and the Center maintains clear conflict-of-interest and ethics policies governing funding, publication, and external engagement. This governance framework exists for one purpose: to ensure that every piece of research produced by NPRC can be trusted on its merits.
